705 FZHW60 PHFO 180323 OFFHFO Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii National Weather Service Honolulu HI 523 PM HST Mon Nov 17 2025 Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240 nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. A high pressure ridge N of the Hawaiian Islands will weaken as a front approaches the state from the NW. The front will enter the NW offshore waters Tuesday, with near gale-force winds behind the front. A trough may develop over the far SE waters Tuesday. A new high pressure will build N of the area midweek.
