Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A cold front west of Kauai will gradually weaken to a trough and
get pushed to the west on Thursday as a new ridge of high
pressure north of the area builds. Scattered strong thunderstorms
will be possible over W waters by Thursday. High pressure builds
back in by Thursday afternoon.

N to NE winds 10 to 20 kt. E of front SE to E winds 10 to 20 kt.
Seas 6 to 10 ft, highest NW waters. Isolated thunderstorms W of
159W.
.THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT...Front weakened to trough from
26N160W to 20N163W. NE winds 20 to 30 kt W of trough, E to SE
winds 15 to 25 kt elsewhere. Seas 7 to 11 ft. scattered locally
strong thunderstorms W of 158W.
.FRIDAY...ESE winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft. Isolated
thunderstorms far NW waters.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...E winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 9 to 10 ft.
.SATURDAY...E winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 7 to 9 ft.
