...NOAA WEATHER RADIO ROUTINE WEEKLY TEST POSTPONED...

The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency conducts tests of the all-
hazard Statewide Outdoor Warning Siren System on the first
business day of the month. To avoid conflicting with the monthly
siren test today, the Routine Weekly Test of NOAA Weather Radio
stations in Hawaii will be postponed until Thursday, October 2,
2025.

During potentially dangerous situations, specially built radio
receivers can be automatically activated to warn of the impending
hazard. The National Weather Service normally conducts a test of
the NOAA Weather Radio public warning system between 11 am and
noon each Wednesday.
