.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1206 AM CDT Mon Oct 6 2025

An upper level ridge will build into the region, bringing a
generally rain-free week across the majority of the inland areas
for Southeast Texas. Low level moisture will increase with PWAT
about average for this time of year. This could squeeze out a few
showers and isolated thunderstorms over coastal locations as the
sea breeze moves inland during the afternoon hours; however, the
majority of rain will fall over the Gulf Waters. A weak dry front
is progged to push through the area sometime this week (timing
ranges from mid-week to late-week/weekend). Not expecting much, if
any rain to occur along the front. Will more or less be a brief
wind shift out of the north. Afternoon highs through the week will
be in the upper 80s to mid 90s. Once the FROPA moves through,
expect those temperatures to come down just a tad. Overnight lows
will be in the low to mid 70s.

.AVIATION...
(12Z TAF Issuance)
Issued at 618 AM CDT Mon Oct 6 2025

Outside of some patchy fog, most impactful at LBX, this forecast
will feature the same pattern we`ve seen for several days. VFR
should prevail with FEW-SCT clouds during the day and winds
shifting from more northeasterly early to ESE/SE in the afternoon
with the seabreeze. Winds should be slightly lower than the past
couple days, more in the 5-10 knot range at peak. Seabreeze
SHRA/TSRA coverage still too low to mention in any TAFs
explicitly.

.MARINE...
Issued at 1206 AM CDT Mon Oct 6 2025

Light winds and low seas are expected to return tonight and
persist through at least Wednesday. A weak boundary may slide
through the coastal waters mid to late week which would bring a
return of moderate northeasterly winds to the region. There is
high uncertainty on when, or even if, this boundary would slide
through the waters, but could be as early as Wednesday night.

Isolated showers and storms will be possible through the next
several days.
