Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A tightening pressure gradient will lead to increasing southeast
winds and building seas as we head into the middle and late parts
of the work week.

Moderate southeasterly winds and building seas are expected today
into Thursday. A Small Craft Advisory in effect. Scattered showers
and thunderstorms are anticipated through Thursday as well. Though
winds and seas may somewhat diminish somewhat heading into Friday
and into the early parts of this weekend, shower and thunderstorm
chances will increase and likely become widespread at times into
early next week. The coastal region will be sandwiched between a
weak frontal boundary along the coast and a broad, elongated
trough of low pressure stretching southward across the western
Gulf.
