Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-070715- 1237 PM CST Sat Dec 6 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Light northeasterly to easterly winds will become southeasterly later today. The main impact will be the development of areas of fog tonight into Sunday morning. Fog could become dense at times. A Dense Fog advisory might be warranted for later tonight and Sunday morning. A cold front will push through by Sunday afternoon. Northerly winds will increase in the cold front`s wake, likely warranting Small Craft Advisories Sunday afternoon into Monday morning. Occasional gusts to gale force cannot be ruled out offshore in the open Gulf. Winds and seas should gradually improve by Monday afternoon, with onshore flow returning by Tuesday.
