Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-291815- 1225 AM CDT Fri Aug 29 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Light to occasionally moderate onshore flow will persist through Saturday. A frontal boundary is expected to enhance shower and thunderstorm activity this weekend. Showers and storms could reach the coast as early as late afternoon or evening on Friday.
