995 FZUS54 KHGX 040800 CWFHGX Coastal Waters Forecast for Texas National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX 200 AM CST Thu Dec 4 2025 Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-042100- 200 AM CST Thu Dec 4 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue through the morning hours as a weak coastal low slides through the area. Patchy fog, reducing visibility down to around 1 nm at times, will be possible through daybreak as well. As the trough passes to our east in the afternoon, moderate to strong north to northeasterly winds will develop and continue into Thursday night with Small Craft Advisories in effect for all waters during this timeframe.
