.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Onshore winds strengthen and seas build overnight in advance of
an incoming Artic cold front on Sunday. The cold front will push
off the coast by early Sunday evening. A Gale Warning may be
required behind the front. Strong offshore winds and elevated seas
will then persist into early and mid parts of next week. We will
need to keep an eye out for low water conditions around low tide
cycles as well. A coastal low is forecast to develop off the
middle and south Texas coast late Wednesday and Thursday then
track across the upper Texas coastal waters. The exact track is
uncertain at this time, though would anticipate continued elevated
winds and seas...along with periods of unsettled weather.
