Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-110115- 611 AM CST Wed Dec 10 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Patchy fog may briefly spill into portions of the bays early this morning. Light onshore winds today will shift to a more northerly direction later today and this evening behind the passage of a weak, dry cold front. Onshore flow returns on Thursday, eventually resulting in an increase risk of fog Friday through Sunday morning. The best chance of fog will be during the overnight and morning hours. Some uncertainty regarding how widespread the fog will be. The next front arrives Sunday, bringing a chance of showers and gusty northeast winds in its wake.
