.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A weak front is currently lingering right along the coast over the
nearshore Gulf waters, resulting in northeasterly to easterly
winds. Winds will swing back around to the southeast during the
day Sunday, followed by increasing speeds and building seas into
Monday night. Caution flags may be needed. The next weather
system will bring shower and thunderstorm chances back to the
region Monday night and Tuesday, but its associated cold front is
not expected to push off the coast until early Wednesday morning.
Small Craft Advisories will likely be needed in the wake of the front.
