Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship
Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Light onshore flow should continue through tonight with Gulf seas
of 2 to 4 feet. Isolated to widely scattered showers are expected
as a front pushes offshore Saturday morning. Winds on Saturday
will become easterly to northeasterly behind the front. Onshore
flow returns on Sunday and increase in speed. The next weather
system will move into the area late Monday into Tuesday, bringing
another chance of showers and storms. Rain chances linger into
Tuesday as the next front will be slow to move through the area.
This front should be off the coast around Wednesday morning after
being reinforced by a stronger cold front.
