Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-301215- 657 PM CDT Fri Aug 29 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. A frontal boundary is expected to stall over our region this weekend, enhancing shower and thunderstorm activity through the weekend. Winds over the weekend are expected to generally be light and variable. However, locally stronger winds in the vicinity of thunderstorms are likely.
