1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Light onshore winds and low seas will persist today. Tuesday
through Thursday, we will see increasing southeast winds and
building seas. Small Craft Advisories may be required as early as
Tuesday night. We will also see some periods of unsettled weather,
especially Thursday into the weekend, in association with deep
Gulf moisture in the region in addition to a very slow moving
upper level trough in the vicinity.
