Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-311315- 739 PM CDT Sat Aug 30 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. A stalled frontal boundary will continue to bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region over the next few days. Winds outside of storms will generally be light and variable. However, locally stronger winds in the vicinity of thunderstorms are likely.
