132 FZUS54 KHGX 050610 CWFHGX Coastal Waters Forecast for Texas National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX 1210 AM CST Fri Dec 5 2025 Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-051915- 1210 AM CST Fri Dec 5 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Gusty northerly winds around 20 knots with occasionally higher gusts will continue through the next few hours. Winds will decrease and veer northeast Friday evening into Saturday. Scattered light showers return near daybreak Friday morning and continue into Friday night before exiting to the east Saturday morning. Light onshore winds develop late Saturday into Sunday morning before offshore winds begin again by sunrise Sunday.
