Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship
Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Light to moderate south to southeast winds and seas of 3-5 feet
today. Strong to severe storms are ongoing inland ahead of a cold
front, but should weaken later tonight before moving offshore
Tuesday moring. Can not rule out an isolated strong storm in the
Galveston Bay area between about 10pm and 5am. A secondary,
stronger push of cool dry air will move into the waters late
Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. North winds should
increase to 20 to 25 knots with gusts of around 30 knots as this
occurs along with building seas. Small Craft Advisories will be
required. Onshore winds resume and increase later in the week.

choppy, diminishing to smooth late. A slight chance of showers
and thunderstorms early this evening, then a chance of showers
and thunderstorms late this evening and overnight.
.TUESDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming northwest in the
afternoon. Bay waters smooth. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms in the morning.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...North winds around 15 knots, increasing to 15 to
20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots after midnight. Bay waters
slightly choppy, increasing to choppy after midnight.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to
