average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Winds will swing back around to the southeast during the day,
followed by increasing speeds and building seas into Monday night.
Caution flags may be needed. The next weather system will bring
shower and thunderstorm chances back to the region Monday night
into early Tuesday. Rain chances start to taper off Tuesday
afternoon or evening depending on when the cold front moves off
the coast. Small Craft Advisories will likely be needed in the
wake of the front on Wednesday as a reinforcing cold front pushes
through the area.
