Bays.

1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Isolated to scattered coastal and offshore showers this morning
should diminish by the afternoon. A cold front will approach the
region tonight. Areas of fog are expected to develop ahead of the
front. Fog could become dense at times. A Dense Fog advisory might
be warranted for later tonight and Sunday morning. Northerly
winds will increase in the cold front`s wake, likely warranting
Small Craft Advisories Sunday evening into Monday morning.
Occasional gusts to gale force cannot be ruled out offshore in the
open Gulf. Winds and seas should gradually improve by Monday
afternoon, with onshore flow returning by Tuesday. May need to
monitor the potential for sea fog by the middle of next week.
