Bays.

1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A cold front and associated showers and thunderstorms is pushing
off the coast early this morning. Mariners should anticipate winds
to shift to the north 20 to 30 knots...with some higher gusts
right along the wind shift and near heavier storms. Rain should
mostly taper off a few hours after the frontal passage, though
winds and seas will remain elevated all day. Small Craft
Advisories are in effect. Another upper level disturbance will
move through later tonight and Monday bringing another round of
rain and embedded thunderstorms. Additional Small Craft Advisories
are possible Monday night into Tuesday morning as moderate to
strong northeasterly winds develop behind this exiting system.
