The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of south central and
southeast Texas, including the following areas, in south central
Texas, Coastal Jackson and Inland Jackson. In southeast Texas,
Coastal Matagorda, Inland Matagorda and Matagorda Islands.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
  areas, Bolivar Peninsula, Brazoria Islands, Chambers, Coastal
  Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Coastal Harris, Galveston Island,
  Inland Brazoria, Inland Galveston and Southern Liberty.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Scattered showers and thunderstorms may result in locally
    heavy rainfall through early this evening and may lead to
    minor localized flooding.
