Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 621 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jacinto City, Jersey Village, Spring Valley, Spring Branch North, Northside / Northline, Spring Branch West, Greater Heights, Memorial Park, Greater Greenspoint, Aldine, Near Northside Houston, Neartown / Montrose, Fourth Ward, northeastern Addicks Park Ten, Downtown Houston, Greater Fifth Ward, Second Ward, Hilshire Village, Greater Inwood and Langwood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
