Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 239 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Humble, Kingwood, Barrett, Channelview, Highlands, Crosby, Atascocita, Lake Houston, Lake Houston Dam, Sheldon, East Houston, eastern Bush Intercontinental Airport, East Little York / Homestead, Eastex / Jensen Area and Porter. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
