Winds will be light and fairly variable, but mostly south to southeast prior to a front arriving this weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will come this afternoon and evening. Some storms could become strong to severe with damaging wind gusts. As the incoming front makes its way into the area Saturday, it is expected to bring an even greater coverage of rain and storms on Saturday.
