The heavy rain threat for today has come to an end. Lingering light showers should be expected to continue into the evening, and possibly well into the night, but rainfall amounts and resultant impacts should be minimal. Low MVFR to occasionally IFR ceilings with light, generally easterly winds may be expected tonight if any nighttime air operations are needed. Tomorrow will give another round of shower and thunderstorm development as the broader environment changes little. Precise timing is difficult, but at this time it looks as if the window for any stronger storms opens late in the morning and peaks in the afternoon. In general, stronger storms tomorrow should focus closer to the coast. The spot area is in a location where it is not the most likely to see heavy rain tomorrow, but is close enough to the favored location that it still should be a consideration, as another round of heavy rainfall storms cannot be ruled out. .TONIGHT...
