.DISCUSSION...

This morning will again begin with low clouds along with some
patchy fog in known foggy spots - cooler, low-lying, and/or near
sources of extra moisture. Any fog should dissipate with clouds
lifting up and scattering within a couple hours of sunrise, and
also like past days, lead to a sunny afternoon with near-record
warm temperatures and unseasonable humidity. Winds will be
generally southerly, though may swing a touch more towards being
out of the south-southwest. In the open, winds should increase to
5-10 mph sustained this afternoon, with an occasional gust into
the low teens. Those gusts should generally match up well with
transport winds out of the south to southwest. On the plus side,
transport winds in the teens will help with dispersion,
particularly if smoke production is low. However, sensitive
locations to the N/NE of the pile may see some smoke impacts if
production is high.

A nighttime inversion should set up quickly as the sun sets this
evening, and we`ll see another night with late night and early
morning low clouds, along with patchy fog. If you are seeing fog
this morning at the site, you will almost certainly see fog again
tonight. Tomorrow, we will see some chances for showers and an
isolated thunderstorm in the afternoon, as our next front
approaches the region. Better chances for rain and storms though
will come Thursday night into early Friday morning when the front
moves through.
