  Coastal waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX out 20
  NM...
  Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...
  Galveston Bay...
  Matagorda Bay...

At 301 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 14 nm northwest of High Island 22
to near Surfside Jetty to 8 nm northwest of Turtle Bay, moving south
at 15 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.

These strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds to around 30
knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine
warning may eventually be required when these strong thunderstorms
reaches the nearshore waters. Boaters should consider heading for
shore before these strong thunderstorms arrives.
