Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60 NM...
Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...

At 1113 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located near Brazos 400, moving southwest at 10
knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 30 to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Brazos 400, West Bay, Brazos 469, Tabs Buoy B, Brazos 439, Galveston
317, Galveston 344, Drum Bay, Galveston 282, San Luis Pass, Surfside
Jetty, Bastrop Bay, East Matagorda Bay, and Christmas Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
