* Until 1130 AM CDT.

* At 1055 AM CDT, a thunderstorm producing waterspouts was located
  over Offatts Bayou, or near Galveston Causeway, moving northwest
  at 10 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts.

  SOURCE...Storm spotter.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas.

* Locations impacted include...
  Galveston Causeway, Offatts Bayou, northeastern West Bay, and
  southern Galveston Bay.
