...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WHARTON AND CENTRAL
JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 115 PM CDT...

At 1249 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported a strong
thunderstorm near Lolita, or near Edna, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. Two reports of funnel clouds were
         received from a weather spotter near Edna, TX.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Edna, Ganado, La Ward, Lolita, Vanderbilt, and Lake Texana Dam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
