...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT GALVESTON...EAST CENTRAL FORT
BEND...WESTERN CHAMBERS...NORTHEASTERN BRAZORIA AND SOUTHEASTERN
HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM CDT...

At 424 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms developing from multiple outflow boundaries in and
around Brazoria and Galveston counties.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Southeastern Pasadena, southeastern Pearland, League City, Texas
City, Friendswood, La Porte, northern Lake Jackson, Alvin, Angleton,
Dickinson, La Marque, Santa Fe, Seabrook, Webster, Hitchcock, Manvel,
Beach City, Kemah, Clear Lake, and southeastern South Belt /
Ellington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
