A cold front will sink south towards the state today, resulting
in increased precipitation chances and gusty winds, particularly
across the northern islands. A southwestward propagating wave of
low pressure is expected to form along the front just west of the
state, which will support southerly flow and increasing moisture
and precipitation chances across the state through Monday. High
pressure will build back into the region through the end of the
week, and typical trade winds should resume. Another cold front
may approach the state from the north next weekend.
