A mostly stable and dry pattern looks to remain in place for the
islands through this weekend and into next week. An area of
surface high pressure northeast of the islands is forecast to
strengthen this weekend bringing a period of gustier trade winds
through Monday as the pressure gradient tightens. Winds will
lighten into the middle of next week as the high weakens. Rainfall
should be limited to lighter terrain- enhanced showers mostly for
windward areas, though it does appear rainfall chances/amounts
will trend upward a bit by mid- to late next week.
