Through the rest of this week, a weak surface ridge to the north
of Hawaii will keep trades at light to moderate levels. A
relatively dry airmass with generally stable conditions will be in
place, for only modest shower coverage. Moisture levels may
increase a bit over the weekend. Then into next week, will
continue to watch the approach of Tropical Storm Kiko toward the
state, as many dynamical and AI/ML models and ensemble members
have Kiko making it at least close enough to Hawaii to influence
the state`s weather with increased rain and winds.
