Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
 A trough will develop north of the state this weekend and
replace weak surface ridging currently in place. Hurricane Kiko,
approximately 1100 NM ESE of Hilo, continues to track westward in
the eastern Pacific, and could impact the eastern coastal waters
as a tropical storm by late Monday or Tuesday based on the
current forecast track.

.TODAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 5 feet. Wave
Detail: East 4 feet at 5 seconds and north northwest 3 feet at
10 seconds. Isolated showers.
.TONIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to 5 feet. Wave
Detail: East 3 feet at 5 seconds and north northwest 3 feet at
10 seconds. Isolated showers.
.SATURDAY...East northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to
6 feet. Wave Detail: East 3 feet at 14 seconds and south
southwest 3 feet at 16 seconds.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...East northeast winds to 10 knots. Seas 4 to
6 feet. Wave Detail: East 4 feet at 12 seconds, north northeast
3 feet at 12 seconds and south southwest 3 feet at 15 seconds.
Scattered showers.
.SUNDAY...East northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 5 to 8 feet.
Isolated showers.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 6 to 9 feet.
Isolated showers.
.MONDAY...East northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 9 to 12 feet,
building to 11 to 15 feet. Isolated showers through the night,
then scattered showers through the day.
.TUESDAY...East northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 9 to
13 feet, subsiding to 7 to 10 feet. Scattered showers.
