.DISCUSSION...
Slightly cooler temperatures will occur through Tuesday, with
temperatures closer to average. Min RH values through the upcoming
week will generally be around 10 to 20 percent each afternoon. Diurnal
northwest and west winds will occur each day with strongest winds
impacting the mountains and Mojave Desert slopes through tonight with
widespread wind gusts 30-45 MPH. This will bring near critical fire
weather conditions to this area. Winds across these areas will decrease
some on Tuesday, with calmer winds by Wednesday into Thursday. Though
winds will calm, and elevated fire weather risk will continue across
lower elevations through the next few days due to lower relative
humidity values and warming temperatures. High temperatures across the
San Joaquin Valley have a moderate to high chance of getting into the
triple digits by Wednesday and Thursday as well.
