.DISCUSSION...
The cooling trend will continue today, with temperatures
dipping below normal for this time of year. This trend
will continue with high temperatures becoming 5 to 10 degrees
below normal by Thursday. Along with the cooling, afternoon RH`s
will improve along with overnight recoveries. Thunderstorm
chances Tuesday through Thursday, though mainly in the high Sierra
Nevada north of Tulare County. Smoke from the Garnet Fire will
continue to be blown towards Nevada even as the trough moves
through due to a consistent southwest to west ridge winds.
