.DISCUSSION...
Steady temperatures in the upper 60s are expected into the
weekend caused by an overall warming trend across the region into
next week. Clear, dry conditions will abound on Saturday, with
partly cloudy to mostly sunny conditions on Sunday, though
ceilings will be upwards of 15,000 feet AGL. Rising temperatures
across the area as a whole will cause mixing heights to rise from
around 6000 feet AGL on Saturday to 8000 feet AGL on Sunday,
promoting potential for more plume-dominated growth. Otherwise,
winds will generally be light near 5 to 7 mph, upsloping from the
west during the day, then downsloping from the east overnight.
Ridge winds are expected between 10 and 15 mph at their maximum in
the afternoons.
