.DISCUSSION...

Mid to low level moisture moving through the area will bring a
chance for isolated to scattered thunderstorms to areas of the
San Joaquin Valley and Sierra Nevada overnight and again for the
Sierras Tuesday afternoon. A slight cooling trend will begin
Tuesday, causing temperatures to drop near normal by Thursday.
Stronger wind gusts will set up later this week, especially in
the Kern County Desert and Mojave Desert Slopes as an upper
level trough passes through the region.
