Clear conditions with near season average temperatures are expected
for the rest of today and into the overnight period. An approaching
system is causing increased wind gusts over the mountain regions,
with surface winds at the spot location expected 12 to 15 mph, with
gusts 18 to 25 mph for this afternoon. There is a 30 to 40 percent
chance for wind gusts to exceed 30 mph at the spot, with greater
chances at the higher elevations to the east. Winds will gradually
decrease overnight, becoming downslope around 5 mph. Snow levels
are expected between 8000-9000 feet.
