.DISCUSSION...
Winds around the fire site are expected to be mainly terrain driven
throughout the forecast period, with daylight winds mainly coming
out of the southwest and evening winds coming out of the northwest,
and the overnight winds becoming light. Friday afternoon may see the
development of thunderstorms in the area, with a 10 to 17 percent
chance of lightning and a 20 percent chance for rain from 11 AM
through 5 PM. Any thunderstorm that develops may lead to gusty and
erratic winds at the surface. RH`s are expected to be dry in the mid
to low 20`s in the afternoon, with poor recovery at night with maximum
RH`s in the high 30`s to mid 40`s.
