.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures drop tomorrow and Thursday as a storm approaches.
Temperatures drop into the low 50s/upper 40s tonight with humidity
recovering to around 40%. Minimum humidity tomorrow down to around
30%, recovering to 60-70% overnight. Rain will arrive Thursday
morning, picking up in intensity Thursday afternoon along with
south winds. Snow levels will begin around 7,000 feet, dropping
progressively as the storm moves through.
A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 1 AM Thursday morning through
4 AM Friday morning as snow is expected above 5,000 feet. In the
Sierra Foothills, West Side Hills, and portions of the Kern County
Mountains, there is a Marginal (5-15 percent) Risk of Excessive
Rainfall on Thursday.
