...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 11 AM PST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile to as low as 200 feet in dense
  fog.

* WHERE...San Joaquin Valley, mainly Merced County southward to
  northern portions of Kern County.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 11 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways impacted include, but are not
  limited to, Interstate 5, as well as Highways 99, 33, 41, 43, 46,
  59, 152, 165, 168, 180, and 198.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.

* WHAT...Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Mojave Desert Slopes.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
