At 225 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17 miles south of Weldon, or 34 miles southwest of Ridgecrest. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Kern County. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
