...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL KERN AND SOUTHERN
TULARE COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM PDT...

At 1113 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18
miles southeast of Ducor, or 26 miles southeast of Porterville,
moving northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Kern
and southern Tulare Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
