...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL FRESNO COUNTY
THROUGH 545 PM PDT...

At 501 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles southwest of Big Pine Creek Campground, or 12 miles south of
South Lake, moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail and brief heavy
         rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
State Lakes, Monarch Ranger Station, Simpson Meadow Patrol Cabin,
Blackcap Basin, Le Conte Canyon Ranger Station, Bishop Pass, and
McClure Meadow Ranger Station.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
