   Tuesday night, with a low chance of severe thunderstorms.

Current satellite imagery is showing low stratus moving into the
region from the north, with these clouds settling into the area
after Midnight. Ahead of these clouds, moist boundary layer
conditions (thanks to earlier rainfall) may allow for some patchy
fog to develop across the region. The combination of low stratus
and patchy fog could result in some reduced visibilities
(locally) by early Sunday morning and those on the roadways should
use caution. A stout inversion will keep cloud cover in place
through midday, but eventually mostly sunny conditions
will develop after 18z. This will allow temperatures to reach the
upper 60s in most locations by the afternoon .

.SHORT TERM...
(Sunday night through Tuesday)

We`ll have one more day on mostly sunny, dry, and warm conditions
as deep southerly flow helps temperatures climb into the lower 70s
by Monday afternoon. These southerly breezes will allow help to
advect moisture from the Gulf back into the region as evidenced by
dewpoints creeping back into the lower 60s by 12z Tuesday morning.
A fast moving shortwave trough will eject from Southern Plains
into the lower Ohio Valley Monday night into Tuesday, sending a
cold front through the Tennessee Valley. Very high (90-100%)
chances for showers and a few thunderstorms are forecast from late
Monday night through Tuesday evening as this boundary slowly
creeps through the area. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1-2" are
forecast across the region -- but given how dry we`ve been of
late, don`t expect much in the way of flooding concerns with this
activity.

.LONG TERM...
(Tuesday night through Saturday)

Rain showers will taper off Tuesday night, with an appreciable air
mass change in wake of this front. High temperatures will drop to
the upper 50s to lower 60s on Wednesday and the upper 40s to
lower 50s on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) and Black Friday as a
cooler, drier continental air mass filters into the region. Thus,
despite clear and sunny conditions each day, breezy northerly
winds will keep temperatures on the chilly side -- and highs below
normal heading through the remainder of the Thanksgiving holiday
weekend and the month of November.

MVFR CIGS should give way to IFR CIGS below 1000 feet around
daybreak at both terminals and some VSBYS could drop to between 3
and 5 SM at times during that period (9Z to 13Z). Expect CIGS to
climb after 13Z to MVFR levels, before VFR conditions return after
18Z. Otherwise, winds around 5 knots will increase to between 5
and 10 kts later this morning into the afternoon hours as they
become more northeasterly.
