Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
315 AM CDT Sat Oct 11 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Dry conditions will continue across Northern Alabama this
weekend, and much of the upcoming work week. Weak high pressure
over the southern states will control the area`s sensible weather.
High temperatures this weekend should rise into the mid/upper
70s, and lows in the upper 40s. Minimum afternoon relative
humidity`s today should be reduced into the low/mid 40s percent
range today, and in the upper 30s percent range during Sunday.
Generally Good to Good smoke dispersion rates are expected across
the area this weekend.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog is possible in
the late night and morning hours, mainly in sheltered locations
and near bodies of water.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Are not forecast at this time.
