.DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered showers and storms are expected to develop
this afternoon before dissipating by the early evening hours.
This trend will continue on Monday afternoon into Monday evening.
20 foot winds will remain light and variable with transport winds
from the W to NW between 5 and 10 mph. Mixing heights will climb
to between 6500 feet and 8000 feet primarily. Afternoon relative
humidity values are expected to drop to around 40 percent in the
afternoon.
A higher coverage of showers and thunderstorms are expected on
Tuesday afternoon and night. 20 foot winds will become northerly
around 5 mph or less with northerly transport winds around 10 mph.
Mixing heights should still climb to around 5000 feet, despite
lower afternoon temperatures. With lower afternoon temperatures,
afternoon relative humidity values should only drop to around
50 percent.
Fog potential over the next few days: Some patchy fog is
possible, especially where scattered areas of heavier rain occurs.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected with minimum
afternoon relative humidity values expected.
