Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
202 PM CDT Fri Aug 29 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Dry conditions will continue the Tennessee Valley Saturday and
Sunday, with high pressure in control of the weather. Min RH
values will drop to between 35-40 percent each afternoon, with
mixing heights peaking over 8 kft. This will help to create
good dispersions despite the light winds.

Fog potential over the next few days: Localized patchy fog will be
possible late tonight into early Saturday morning along sheltered
river valleys.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
