.DISCUSSION...
Low level moisture advection via 20 foot winds from the south
between 5 and 10 mph will help to keep afternoon relative humidity
RH values higher above 40 percent on Thursday. Mixing heights
will continue to climb well above 7000 feet in the afternoon.
Transport winds from the south will increase to between 10 and 15
mph.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible in the
afternoon hours on Friday. 20 foot winds will shift to the SW to W
around 5 mph with transport winds from the SW around 10 mph.
Mixing heights will be lower and only climb to around 6000 feet in
the afternoon. Afternoon relative humidity values will drop to
around percent or higher in the afternoon.
Fog potential over the next few days: None is expected.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected.
